About Me |
I did the city thing for long enough. Now, building a simple life making mud pies and chasing butterflies on an old river farmstead in the beautiful Ozarks, among other things.
Personally, after a long hot summer day in the garden, fixing fences, moving dirt, chain sawing wood or pounding nails there’s nothing better than throwing a lawn chair butt deep in the river with something frosty in one hand and a fishing pole in the other. Call me weird, but I enjoy building things and the outdoors rather than hitting outlet malls, sitting in bars or playing video games. Spiritual rather than religious, no offense but I'd rather sit under an oak tree than in an oak pew. Say what I mean, mean what I say. Predominantly happy with my life and upbeat, I’m also not bipolar, strung out on drugs/booze, needy, paranoid, insecure or needing rescue – woohoo!
