About Me |
As a retired person, I feel the best is yet to come at this time of life. I am looking for new love to grow into a deep and satisfying long-term relationship. I am striving to become a better person and appreciate each moment of each day.
I love the outdoors and spend as much time there as possible walking, bicycling, and simply enjoying nature. Horses, dogs, and cats have been special companions I've had in my adult life.
I cherish the time I spend with my daughter, four siblings, my mom and others in my extended family.
Issues of social justice have always been of major importance to me and I've volunteered throughout my life. I now help out at CAP (Citizens for Animal Protection) and have worked at the OFA (Organizing For America) office. In the past, I've been a VISTA Volunteer, taught English as a second language, worked for the SIERRA Club, and have been a volunteer coordinator for a crisis intervention organization.

I like to read, spend time with my family, and take my dog for walks. I live in Houston and enjoy the sport teams here. I love stimulating conversation over coffee or dinner.
